"Error: Unknown filesystem grub rescue"

Hi. After replacing my entire Windows 7 OS with Ubuntu 10.04 on my Asus G73S, I've decided I want to dual-boot between the two. So I want to start from scratch and install Windows first. But after running the Windows Restore/Recovery Image (6 DVDs http://dl.dropbox.com/u/80304796/b1.jpg ), I get "Error: Unknown filesystem grub rescue" when I try to boot ( http://dl.dropbox.com/u/80304796/b3.jpg ). Any suggestions?

For what it's worth, here are my boot choices ( http://dl.dropbox.com/u/80304796/b2.jpg ) and here is what "sudo fdisk -l" returns...

Your Recovery/Restore DVD restored to factory settings which overwrote your Ubuntu installation. You can see in the fdisk output you only have windows filesystems. Apparently, the Restore option doesn't rewrite the master boot record since you get a grub prompt on boot. You will need to restore the windows bootloader to the master boot record and probably will need a full windows 7 installation DVD. If you are planning to re-install Ubuntu, make sure you create partitions on which to install in the Extended partition during the installation and install the Ubuntu bootloader to the master boot record. It should detect the windows installation and create an entry for it in the boot menu.

You can either download the 7rd 32bit or 64bit iso & restore wins bootloader or reinstall ubuntu
