Error trying to install wine

this error appears when doing "make" any ideas?

ill format "again" my box to install suse to see if i have success installin wine. i have tried to install wine on rh and knoppix but nothing. Iguess i'll have to go back to MS

do you have gcc installed??
by this error, it appears that you don't.

what is gcc?
i have knoppix, how do i install it?
do i have to erase wine and reinstallit after installing gcc?
