Error message upon start up


Error message upon start up which was not there before:
"error: attempt to read or write ouside of disk..."
"Press any key to continue"
Pressed any key an starts up perfectly but it keeps happening.

Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon, Quiana is the only OS on disk, installed from DVD ISO about four months ago and was working perfectly.

i would start by checking your hard drive to make sure that is okay wiht something like smartctl. the second thing i would look at is your partition, if you have enough room on it and so on...

lastly, it could be a bios deal. i would look through the disk settings in there...
