Error Installing Acrobat Reader

I am a recent user of Linux, Mandrake 10.1, and have not been able to install the acrobat reader. I get the following message:

line 219: ed: command not found

Many thanks,

You need to install ed. You can download it here, or you should be able to install it off your distro cds.

I hope this helps
