Error in Installing Apt
So in order to solve my Kernel's problems, which i think stem from Kudzu, I am trying to get apt, which i hear is quite reliable. This way i won't be forced to use up2date. When i tried to sudo the rpm however i get the following message:
# sudo rpm -ivh apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm warning: apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e42d547b error: Failed dependencies: libbeecrypt.so.6 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr libelf.so.1 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr libncurses.so.5 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr libreadline.so.4 is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr librpm-4.3.so is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr librpmdb-4.3.so is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr librpmio-4.3.so is needed by apt-0.5.15cnc6-1.1.fc2.fr what the heck does that mean??? Apparently, you need to install these packages:
ftp://194.199.20.114/linux/fedora/co...1.0-3.i386.rpm ftp://194.199.20.114/linux/fedora/co....95-2.i386.rpm ftp://194.199.20.114/linux/fedora/co...5.4-5.i386.rpm ftp://194.199.20.114/linux/fedora/co...-10.1.i386.rpm Got everything from rpmfind.net. :) |
