Error in copy a file that's a link to executable


I trying to copy a file to my USB drive but it said operation is not permitted. It's a link to an executable.

other files I can copy OK.

You would also need to change that file's permissions back to normal user if that works as it will be moved as admin?

Not enough information given but the assumption would be that the drive is either formatted as FAT32 or NTFS which do not support linux file links.
