Okay, my mistake. I thought maybe some process had died and left a lock file behind, and that was why some of your package utilities are failing to run. But my guess was wrong; checked one of my own Debian machines and it has a lock file in the same place. Sorry for the bad guess.

So, no idea why your 'apt-get update' is refusing to run. Has that ever happened to you before? Are you sure you ran that command with sudo?

But, that's independent from being unable to remove kipi-plugins.

I'm wondering if there are other pieces of kibi that might be getting in our way. What do you get from:
Code:
% dpkg-query -l 'kipi*'
...?

Does anything in your system depend on the package? Try:
Code:
% apt-cache rdepends kipi-plugins
If kibi-plugins is a package we really don't need, there might be a way to just get rid of it.

Or, we may discover something that you do want to keep after all.

Okay. Have you tried removing all those packages, then trying your original goal again?

Without a wider look at your system, I don't know what's failing, sorry. Hoping somebody with more experience with the finer details of Debian's package handling can step in.

...what's the path that ldconfig doesn't find? Whatever it is, it looks like it isn't specific to the package you're trying to remove. But I'm at a loss to suggest where to look next, sorry.

Sorry, I don't have a solution to this.

One thing I notice:

Code:
sudo apt-get clean; sudo apt-get update
...should be:

Code:
sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get update
That way, the second command will only run if the first one completes successfully. The way you've written it, I don't know which one failed. But, until we get your system fixed, apt-get won't be able to update it, so there's not much point in trying those commands right now.

Do you ever install software by any means other than the Debian package system? That might account for some of the path errors we see.

This:
Code:
E: Could not get lock /var/cache/apt/archives/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock directory /var/cache/apt/archives/
...is something we need to solve somehow, but it's strange. The error message about not being able to lock it suggests that some other process is running there, but we don't find one. (RIght?)

How long has this system been running? What do we get from:
Code:
$ uptime
...?

My friend said to me "Check if you have directory outside of the normal tree. Unmount the boot, check the contents of the boot clear without mercy, mount the boot
Check / root, clean without mercy." I asked him how I can check tree, when I do not have installed tree and I can't install?? And I trying cleaning, before he sending me this mail, but without results. Any update, upgrade do not helping me. Do I installed something?? Wow. I'm not sure, but perhabs yes... I do not remember what, and when, right now I try all the time find solution to have working properly my system.

After when I be successfully cleaning root I thinking to install exroot.
And I don't know why is kipi-plugins on first place. I trying force remove kipi-plugins, but system do not removed.
