error 13 winxp not loading

i have managed to get my system to partition with XP being i n hda1 and linux being on hda2. i even managed to get grub to install and work correctly with linux.

now comes the tricky part (for me at least). i am trying to get windows to kick into gear, but it just won't do it.

when i select DOS from the grub screen, it takes m e to a screen that says:

rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1

Error 13: Invalid or undsupported executable format

Press any key to continue...

When the key is pressed, it takes me to the grub screen again. i have gone through all the many different topics on this subject, and have applied all of the different solutions to make sure it's all correct. but it's still not working. what's my problem???? i'll get the fdisk list and the grub config file posted as soon as i can.

thanks in advance

Don't have XP but I am guessing you will need to run fdisk and make hda1 BOOTABLE.
