Error 1 when trying to compile proftpd
 

when ive tried to compile proftpd1.2.10 i get the following error message in the terminal, when i type make:

echo\#define BUILD_STAMP\"`date`\" >include/buildstamp.h
/bin/sh: include/buildstamp.h: no such file or directory
make: *** [include/buildstamp.h] Error 1

any help would be appreciated - thanks

im an impatient person, so i gave up on proftpd, and got pure-ftpd instead, it compiled properly first time, and appears to work, i.e. a client can access it from my network, so i think ill leave that here
