Eric python ide


Am trying to get the eric ide to work on my Kubuntu system however I am having problems installing QScintilla. It is comming up with errors when I try to run make on it with the main error being "lex was not declared in this scope" and lots of other errors qmake seems to run ok however there is no output from it? Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Isn't there a package available in the Ubuntu repositories? For the flex error, you probably need to have flex (and maybe flex-dev) installed.

YYes you were right, there is a package in the repository only version3 though have used it anyway thanks for your help
