Question .EPS Files won't import on Scribus 1.2

Hi I'm a new user of the latest version of
Scribus and have been trying to import a .eps

I downloaded gsview and the message in the two
popups that appear when I
open the file in it is

GSview 4.6

You should upgrade your gs to latest 8.something version. If your eps is not in vector format you may need to import it into an image frame (not with file menu's import eps).
