Enlightenment menu text not showing up!

Hey Linux gurus,

I switched from Enlightenment to fluxbox very recently and then got bored of it.

When I went back to Enlightenment for the first time, I realized that my menu text was not showing up. It was just purely invisible. I can still USE the menus, but no labels of menus or programs show up. It's very odd.

Anyways, I have emerged and unmerged enlightenment many times, I have gotten rid of freetype and then emerged enlightenment with the freetype dependencies, and I have also tried deleting my '.enlightenment' directory in my home dir. I am out of ideas!

I really want enlightenment back up and running again, but this tedious menu problem really isn't allowing me to do so. If anyone has any ideas as to how to get my Enlightenment 'un-broken' I will not only give them a cookie but thank them beyond possibility

Thanks in advance!

Aman9090

PS: I am running Gentoo
