enlightenment install problem?

Hi everybody!

trying to install enlightenment from source, but i can't get passed the freetype dependency... I installed freetype (from but the ./configure script of enlightenment keeps telling me "enlightenment needs a system with (freetype)" am i missing something?

edit: i did run /sbin/ldconfig after installing freetype...

1) run 'updatedb' and then 'slocate' to see where your is hiding
2) check to see that the path for is in your /etc/
3) try 'ldconfig' to update the libraries

Now try 'make distclean' and then './configure' in your enightnement source tree to see if the script can locate your freetype stuff
