Enlightenment DR16 and XFCE...combined?

hey all. I switched from xfce4 to e16... e16 is great, love it.. anyway, I was playing around, and I started the xfce4-panel in E. It works great for me...but better than that, all my fonts/icons changed from the E look to the xfce4 defaults! it was great! that rough look GTK apps have in E was completely replaced by my default XFCE font... programs that are (lets face it) pretty ugly in E (rox-filer) were transformed into sex butter. I had all the perks of running GTK programs natively, but on E!

however, next time I tried logging in to E and starting xfce4-panel, it didn't do it. I can't remember specifically what I did, but i thought i just ran the panel....

anyway, i can get it to work by running xfdesktop, then killing it, but i don't want to do that every time I log in.

Is there some process or something I can run that runs that part of XFCE?

I don't know why you want that but it you are looking into having the same GTK theme loaded on E as on XFCE, then install gtk-chtheme and you change your GTK preferences user-wide, independant of XFCE. Otherwise XFCE sets your GTK settings only for each XFCE session.

I love E too but I'm going to wait for E17 rather than use E16 for now.

Probably!
PS - I'm not talking about E17 beta.
- I don't think there's any good reason to use x86_64 ATM.
