Linux is pretty open to changes in configuration, so why whine? If you don't like it try something else. Is there nothing else in the menu? I am using Suse 9.2, and have no problem changing window managers, browsers, etc. Can you be more specific a bout your problem?

In SUSE it is far easier than searching for an deleting files and folders. Simply fire up yast, delete all enlightenment and keep/install KDE or Gnome or fluxbox or whatever you prefer.
