enlightenment 17 on SuSE 10

Okay, I have two problems. When I try to use Eapp edit, it quits when I try to set an icon; although, I think that just might be a bug. Secondly, I tried to run e17genmenu -g (also -k) this is what I get:
Code:
Checking For /usr/share/applications...Exists
Checking For Files In /usr/share/applications

Found: acroread.desktop
Getting Eap Name
Parsing Desktop File /usr/share/applications/acroread.desktop
        Name: Acrobat Reader
        Exec: acroread %f
        Generic: PDF Viewer
        Icon: acroread
        Categories: Office;Viewer
Processing File /usr/share/applications/acroread.desktop
        Got Window Class: (null)
        Trying To Find Icon acroread
        Checking For acroread.png
        Using Icon /usr/share/pixmaps/acroread.png
        Writing Icon /usr/share/pixmaps/acroread.png
        Getting Icon Compression
edje_cc: Opening "/tmp/edje_cc.edc-tmp-25e7GD" for input
edje_cc: Parsing input file
edje_cc: Parsing done
edje_cc: Wrote 216 bytes ( 0Kb) for "edje_file" header
edje_cc: Error. unable to load image for image "acroread.png" part entry to /home/whishkah/.e/e/applications/all/acroread.eap
        Writing app/info/name:Acrobat Reader

ERROR: Cannot open file /home/whishkah/.e/e/applications/all/acroread.eap for WRITE
I have tried setting up permissions differently. I even tried GOOGLE! All I can find is the user manual. I just recently started to use enlightenment seriously. I played around with it when I had SuSE 9.1. I have gone back to it because I got tired of KDE and GNOME. So, I fairly new to enlightenment. Hence, could you explain things clearly I still getting use to the binary formats...

Thanks
