energy in leach protocol !!

Hi

I am working on leach protocol using ns-2.34 as my simulator and i have a few doubts regarding energy of the nodes.
In the file leach.energy ,the energies of each node at every 10 second interval is shown(the amount of energy dissipated/consumed).What is the formula or the factor which calculates this consumption of energy in the nodes.I require this information since i need to know how the energy is spent and using what formula is it calculated? Which file in the simulation calculates this?

Regards
Shanky

Hi,

I have another question regarding energy in leach. When i perform simulation by changing some of the parameters (in my case number of cluster heads) it calculates and gives me the energy consumed at the end of simulation. For some cases i get the energy consumed as more than 200J such 424J or 366J.How can this be possible when the initial energy for each node is 2J (i am using 100 nodes for my simulation) so total initial energy will be 200J.How is then possible for all the nodes combined to consume energy more than 200J??

Thanks
Shanky
