Endnote fans: it has been ported up to v. 8

Lots of pps who made entries to jeremy's thread seemed to want Endnote ported, and cited it as a reason they couldn't make the switch to linux completely. I just found out that the port to linux has already been done by Codeweavers - but only up to v. 8, which sux.

Stay away from v. 8, at least the win version. It was a complete re-architecture from previous version so perhaps the linux version is better than win, but I couldn't say until I can get my linux machine up and running properly. I use/program/develop multiuser network-capable databases with v.9 for win, which is, by all accounts, much more stable.

Need an apa 5th expert? I've become one in the past year due to the Endnote work :-)
