End of session box
When I log out of KDE3 I get either of two different "End of Session" boxes (random - I cannot predict which one will come up).
One has a green "animal" figure with options to "Login as different user", "Turn off computer", "Restart computer". This box functions correctly. The other one is a small box with only "Save sesion for future logins", with "Logout" or "Cancel" options. When this box comes up, if I click "Logout", another box comes up with the option to change the user name and password, or to reboot/halt. This box often freezes my keyboard, and I have to use the auto login feature and restart KDE if I don't want to shutdown, and try again. How do I get rid of this non functional logout box and only get the first one above? |
did you upgrade kde or something and keep your old files around?
Maybe removing the files related to kde in your home folder will solve the problem ~/.kde |
It was a fresh install of Mandrake 9
