Angry "Enabling local filesystem quotas" - boot failure

I'm using Fedora Core 3. The last thing I changed was in /etc/X11/xorg.conf setting the default depth to 24 and then made an entry in /boot/grub/grub.conf for the dual boot with WinXP. Also I installed the NTFS module for my new kernel 2.6.10-741 from test.
After an normal reboot my PC hangs when booting. It remounts root filesystem in read-write mode, it checks the filesystem it mounts local filesystem and then hangs with this:
Mounting local filesystems: [ OK ]
Enabling local filesystem quotas:
What can I do?
Any help is apreciated. I do not have a Knoppix cd or another live cd, so please help me with the normal FC3 cd's if possible or needed.

Thank you very much!
Regards, Boby!

OK, fixed the problem

I've wrote an wrong line in xorg.conf . After repairing it, I could boot in X.
