Enable a second X server with a script.


I'm trying to write a little script which performs all this stuff:

But i fail. I'm not a bash thunder, so i request some help.

#! /bin/sh
X :1.0& export DISPLAY=:1.0& xterm&

X :1.0& works but the other commands are not executed!!

Try it with 2 & inbetween each command, but not at the end

It don't works. X :1.0 always works, but the following commands aren't executed.

My command for doing this is (in a spare terminal)

startxfce4 -- :1 &

And it works, but does a bit of complaining when the session is ended. Maybe this method will help you out?

That's works well!! Thanks. But i use Xfce4 as my main wm, and i experimented bad things when running twice as same user. So for the moment i just want to use an xterm. And after, i'll search more.
