Emulate joy or letter key

Hi,
is there a software for emulate Joy from keyboard?
I want that press a key move in a joy direction.
I'm working with a software where instead conventional direction keys of keyboard I must use the letter keys. maybe does exist a software to avoid this? otherwise I thought it could be possible to use letter keys to simulate the directions of joystick, as it is supported
please, anyone have any idea?
thanks
Matteo

Your question is very hard to follow, please write more clearly. Also, you don't say anything about the version/distro of Linux you're using, or what desktop environment you have.

If you want to "move in a joy direction", under KDE, you can set your keyboard arrow keys to move the mouse accordingly. Your question isn't clear, so it's hard to tell what you're looking to do.
