emerge gentoo openal
 

Hi when I do an "emerge --search openal" i get an old package of openal "20050504-r1"
to be specific.
When I search gentoo.org I have found 3 packages which are "unstable" I would like to install the lastest one of those (found here
the package "20051024" How do i go about doing that ? I have a 32bit system.

What portage tree are you in arch, ~arch? If you are in arch you are most likely going to have to add the package name to the keywords file in portage. Instructions can be found here. Hope this helps!

Thanks seems to the answer I will test it as soon as I get home... Can't wait to try mythtv too... but maybe after cedega.
