Email what am i missing

came a cross this as ive been using thunderbird for years what am i missing out on? just wondering as Im quite used to windows people telling me i need a new os windows can do this and that (all of which i can do in my own way quietly)

What did the devs have to say in their defence? Did Joe Brockmeier even approach them before berating their product? Those email clients mentioned do what they say on the tin. They send email. If they are not feature rich enough for Joe Brockmeier, he has the freedom to find one that is.
