i'm quite new to linux. i'll install a proxy server (squid) and mail server using either freebsd or debian. my question is. is there a mail server software that can automatically save all incoming and outgoing messages of all our users? what i mean is, for example, user1, user2, usern... send and receive an email and those email message(s) will be automatically leave a copy to our mail server for close monitoring of all incoming and outgoing messages in our company. in windows there are mercur and merak mail server, but in linux i haven't found one. i heard scalix but i haven't found such feature... is it possible to customize either sendmail, postfix and other built-in mail server of linux to meet my needs? and if it does can you give me some site so that i can learn? thnx in advance....

You can configure postfix to do that.
