I've been reading up on which email server I'd like to run, but I can't make up my mind. I'll probably be using Fedora - maybe I'll move to CentOS. I'd like to be able to create a web interface for checking your email too.
you can use axigen to do all these but it costs money , you could also set up a standard sendmail server w/ dovecot and squirrelmail for the webmail. There are alot of tutorials on howtoforge.com about this that go step by step.
Load up CentOS 5.2 and then grab Zimbra Open Source. Its all you need for an email server. I've tried just about all of them and currently use Insight Server. We are going to migrate everything to Zimbra.
