email client like dillo the browser ?

Hi Everyone

I am running Debian testing with Gnome on one machine but I am running Debian stable with just X + JWM on another and I am really loving it. I have most of the applications I need to do my programming with and I am still QT-GTK free. I am enjoying the back to basics setup.

I have tried to set up mutt and cone in the past but I was just too dumb and failed. I have Dillo installed and I am enjoying it. I wish there was an email client like it. Could anyone recommend an email client that is graphical but runs with just X and/or FLTK ?

Thanks-Patrick

Alpine

I would recommend Alpine. Like mutt, it has a text-based interface and runs in a terminal. It is however easier to set up. If you have used the text editor nano, you will find the interface and key bindings familiar.
