Hi Folks,
I'd like to set up a server for my home network using a R.Pi. Various machines are used on my home network and I'd like to use all of them to access an email/contacts/tasks/calender server. I've got Linux machines, Android tablets and phones and unfortunately a Windows machine. I use MS Outlook for tasks/calendar/email/contacts at work and I'd like to find some way of sync'ing the tasks, calendar and contacts to my home server if possible. I'm not interested in sync'ing work emails. My network sits behind a decent firewalled router.
At some point in the future I'd also like to set up the R.Pi to run DansGuardian and act as gateway for the home network.

Any thought or recommendations on which R.Pi distro to start with, and which email server and calendar/tasks/contacts server(s)?
