Email Aliases in Mozilla Thunderbird?

Is there any way to set up email aliases in Mozilla Thunderbird? I've got a university email that lets me have a few aliases, but Thunderbird doesn't like 2 email accounts with the same server login... This is pretty much my last obstacle before I can dump Outlook for good, I can't wait!

Thanks!
