Emacs under Fedora Core 4?

Hello.I just installed Fedora core 4 linux on my system and am unable to run Emacs.Is it so that Fedora doesnt come with Emacs?Will I have to install it ?

Hi.

It's on one of the CDs, or you can do 'yum install emacs'.

Thanks ilikejam.I gave this command in the terminal.The response I get is:

Setting up install process.
Setting up Repositories.
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: updates-released

What is the next step I should take?Thanks.

Keep trying - the server was probably down.

or add a few more repositories in yum.conf
