ekiga recignises logitec webcam, cheese doesnt

i have a webcam that i decided to pull out the other day, its a logitec quickcam pro for notebooks, it works in ekiga, but not cheese, it only worked in ekiga after i changed the colour settings from PAL to NTSC, is there any way to do this with cheese?

I was wondering if you had found a fix for this? I bought a quickcam 3000 and it works in ekiga but nothing else!

running Ubuntu 8.10 on my desktop. haven't tested on my opensuse laptop yet.
