Mandriva 2007.1

Hi There

Anyone help on this please

I am trying to get Ekiga to work on my Mandriva 2007.1 box.

The hardware works ok and I can dial out and receive on
my Diamond account.

With Ekiga it returns "Registration Failed" and in the calls
history section, I see the notice 'Security Check failed'.

Anyone know how or where I would start on a fix for this please.

Any advice would be appreciated

Try adding yourself to the "voice" group.

Note: a lot of people report that skype works "much better"... but fail to realise that it acheives this by subverting your security.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.

Had a look at the link you gave me, and it reads exactly

whats happening at my end. Will try what they have recommend.

If it's OK with you, then will post your link on the Ekiga
