eGroupWare + backup


Greetings !


Below message is quite long, so plz have patience .

Q1. Is backup module is in use, or there are
somethings to improve in it for making it working.

Q2. Is there any doc available for configuring backup
device in eGW. plz give me link

Q3. How many types of backup device is supported in
eGW such as harddisk, cd etc.

Q4. I have configured it but it is giving following
error while clicking backup icon
error is "The backup application is not configured for
showing the archives in eGroupWare yet !"

Below is my configuration, plz have a look and let me
know where i am wrong in my configuration.

ADMIN >
Backup

Full path to your PHP exec (eg: /usr/bin/php):
/usr/bin/php
tar: /bin/tar

Backup settings - Directory locations


MySQL: /var/www/html/egroupware/calendar/
PostgreSQL:
LDAP:
Notification to E-Mail: a@example.com

Check to create backups of your data: "checked"
Interval: "daily"
Absolute path of the directory of EGW Backup
application: /var/www/html/egroupware/calendar
Number of stored backups to keep beefore deleting
old ones:: 5




Data


SQL:
LDAP:
E-MAIL Notification?: "checked"
Select your archive type: tar.gz


LocalhostConfiguration


Check to save backup locally: "checked"
Absolute path of the backup directory (eg.:
/usr/local/www/egroupware/backup/a rchive:
/home/a/backup
Check to show backup archives in eGroupWare:
"checked"


Q5. How to take backups ?


Any help aprreciated.

Any info needed , will be provided.
