Education: Terminal based EPUB text-to-speech book reader for Students?
Hello,
I am usually using my ebook reader to directly listen to books. It works pretty well, fast and the audio is very good. Despite this great today's technology, I would be keen to visit the world of Linux software to also be capable to do the same with a PC (BSD/Linux). Would you eventually know a Terminal based EPUB text to speech book reader, that could make use of Festival? Bash could do that, but let's stick to C. Unzip the epub, get the opf, and scan it, and convert html to text, and send it to festival. Maybe, there are already some tiny tools that can easy life of long hours of reading for students. Education has no price, really. ;) |
