Editing the Right click Menu

First off, I'm a n00b. I know a little about commands and such, but for the most part I'm learning via trial and error. Right now I'm running Slack 9.0 (2.4.20) and using KDE as a gui. I was wondering if there was a way to add/edit the desktop menu (what you get when you right click on the desktop). In particular I was hoping to add a way to launch Konsole just by right clicking and selecting it from the drop-down menu. I know there's other ways to do it. Just thought this'd make it a bit faster to launch. Anyone have any ideas? There IS a thread on this subject here. But thelink that supposedly explained it is broken. Thanks :)

Try looking through the KDE Control Center. I remember seeing some Desktop Menu Options in there. That thing seems to have everything.
