Editing gnome menu
I'm using gnome 2.2 on SuSE 8.2. I would like to be able to edit my main menu (something similar to KDE's menu editor), but there doesn't seem to be a program to do this.
Can anybody tell me how I edit it? A graphical program would be nice but I would settle for editing a text file. The other thing I would like is to change the icon used for the main menu, but thats not really important. Thanks. |
Check out /usr/share/pixmaps for the main menu icon... in red hat it's called "redhat-main-menu.png" Should be something similar in Suse... just cp your own icon into /usr/share/pixmaps (or wherever you find it) with the same name... may want to back up the original though in case you want to switch back...

Lupin he's using SuSe, not RH.

that's why I said this
"check out /usr/share/pixmaps for the main menu icon... in red hat it's called 'redhat-main-menu.png' Should be something similar in Suse" |
