edge flipping with xgl

Hi all,

I have a working Xgl on suse 10.1 with gnome. Tha last thing I miss is edge flipping. The settings in gnome control center just don't seem to effect the feature at all. Whatever I choose (no edge flipping or always enabled) edge flipping always works when moving windows, but never when going to the very edge of the screen.

Is this just on my suse or on everyone's? Thanks a lot for the answers.

I have the same problem with XGL on OpenSUSE 10.2 using gnome (haven't tried KDE because I heard it uses more resources).
The 3 edge flipping options (flip when mouse on edge, flip only with window, never flip) don't change anything.

Only the flipping while moving a window works, independently of what option I choose.

I know this post is old, but if anybody knows why...
Maybe these options just haven't been implemented yet.

Hi, I am quite positive there is a setting that should take care of this. I am not using gnome and xgl any more, but it used to be somewhere in gconf-editor (or something like that) or in whatever you use to set up compiz (or beryl). I hope this helps.
