Eclipse 3.0.1 USB Mouse Scrolling

Hello guys,

I have set up eclipse for quite some time now, and wondering whether there is a possibility to get the scrolling of my USB Mouse working with Eclipse?
It's working fine for almost every other X program.
I am using SuSE 9.0, and Eclipse 3.0.1.

If you need further information please let me know.

Thank you for your help in advance.

That is strange, it should work fine in Eclipse. Are you using the GTK Eclipse or the Motif one? If you're using the Motif Eclipse you should look at this . I am using the GTK version and it does scroll. Hope this helps, let me know.

Thanks, but

Thanks for your quick reply ritme909,

I've checked that link. but I have had this line included already. I use the Motif Eclipse, but I'll try to switch to the GTK now. I have looked for /etc/X11/imwheel and couldn't find it anywhere... but I am using XFree86 4.x. - maybe it's become obsolete.

I'll let you know if it works better with the GTK .
