im running mandrake 9.1 and im a total linux newbie and im wondering how do you install eblite. its a tar.gz file and i dunno how to install it.

first open the archive
tar -zxf <eblite filename>.tar.gz
there should be a file from the archive that has installation instructions. typically it would be called INSTALL
if you run into any problems, some on back
