Easy postfix quarantine/spam e-mail browsing
I have my postfix/Mailscanner/SpamAssasin/Sophos set up to store spam messages to /var/spool/MailScanner/quarantine/20070720/spam so i can search for some mail that should be forwarded but was detected as spam.
Now if i want to search for some valid mails there it is a pain to grep through those messages. (and even then i have to know what i am searching for to find) All messages there are stored as postfix queue files. Is there some tool or KDE GUI program that i could point to that directory so it would display me all mails contained in that directory ? Would be helpfull to see those mails in some program so i could browse through them. Opening each one of it and see at its body/header etc. is not an option (daily more than 6000 messages conatined in one folder). Thx. |
What message format are you using? mbox, maildir or cyrus-maildir?
You can temporarily copy the messages to a temporary mail account then read them. However, there are different techniques for the different formats above. |
