Easiest way to re-author a dvd?
I have a bunch of Stargate SG1 season DVDs. Specific episodes I'd like to be able to put together as a representative sample of why SG1 is pretty cool (friends being skeptical and all that)
I've currently been through: transcode, dvd::rip, mencoder, avidemux, mplex, lxdvdrip, acidrip, etc etc etc. Everything. What I'm trying to do is either:
1) rip titles, encode and tween them into SVCD files, and burn them to cds, or
2) (preferred) rip the vobs as easily as possible, then paste them together and re-author them on dvd+r discs.
Without having to go through lengthy demuxing processes, is there any way to do this? Either option (although just straight copying vobs from one SG1 dvd to a directory, compiling a 4.4GB dvd's worth and then using dvdauthor to re-author a couple of DVDs would be the preferred method.)
