hasn't anyone come accross this problem?

I'd really like to use e17/enlightenment, but don't know how.

If I can't add the choice on the login manager, then maybe there's a way to make it the default window manager?

e17 postinstall help

If y'all are talking about the .xsession file, go and edit the file .xsession or .xinit, add 'exec /opt/e17/bin/enlightenment' and then restart the computer. You can create that file as well and then change it via chmod +x .xession or chmod +xinit. If you need any more help. Just ask.
