e-smith VPN stopped working!

I made a few changes to e-smith 5.6 and somehow stopped VPN from working. (yes, it was working fine until I made changes to the workgroup and the domain name and ???).

I have gone through the setup a dozen times, searched Google groups, this forum, the e-smith (Mitel) site and still cannot find the problem.

Any suggestions OR where to find documentation or a manual would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

David
