E-Mail s/w on Linux
 
I want to use the linux server as an e-mail server. What are the e-mail server s/w available on Linux platform for free. I can only see e-mail client s/w available for free.

I'd have to strongly recommend postfix. www.postfix.org You might be very "hesitant" or think it's too rough, really don't be. The documentation that is included is great, and should get you set up in a matter of minutes.

You'll wanna look for a DNS (I think that's what they are called ;) ) to have people send emails to. Mine, I have through www.noip.com which is for people with Dynamic IP's, IE dial up users and Non-static DSL's et al.

Anyway, yeah, that'll set you up with send/recieve ability from your very own box, it's a very nice feeling to do that :)
