E-mail client

I am looking for a 'nice' e-mail client that doesn't use KDE or GNOME libraries...

I haven't seen a site that has reviews or anything good =(

Anyone have suggestions? I have seen tons and don't want to install each one to see how it works - expecially with so many.... =(

POP3 and SMTP Server access with the ability to NOT delete the e-mails on the server.

Thanks!

Micah

Evolution maybe... has a few dependencies but none are really KDE or Gnome specific. Maybe Sylpheed as well.. not sure though, never used.

Pine as well and any other command line email program.

I like Thunderbird. Its a standalone Mozilla Mail client with a bunch of extra features. It uses its own toolkit (XUL), so it doesn't need GTK or QT.

mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird

be sure to get the latest builds, as its in active development, and each release is much better than the last.
