Dvdrw

General question about DVDRW. Never really used one before. Do you erase a DVDRW like a CDRW? I'm confused on how to use one properly.

I think last time I used the DVDRW I just used K3B and Overwrite mode. Not sure if this was correct?

They seem a lot different then a CDRW that's for sure.

I believe you erase DVD-RWs, but just overwrite DVD+RWs. (That seems to be what happens in my experience, anyway!)

I have 2 pieces of filled up DVD+RW... with 1, Ubuntu GNOME Nautilus DVD Creator simply asked if I would like to erase the disc and write over its data, no problem there... but with the second one, I cannot get anything to burn onto it... not DVD Creator, GnomeBaker, K3B...

Any help, anyone? Thanks!!!

Best Regards,

Rykel
