DVD Styler - Menu Question
I am trying to create a DVD using DVD Styler. The project is very simple, using a standard DVD Styler twin menu template, and 3 short video clips
Creating the DVD is no problem, but no matter what I try, I cannot get the DVD to start up at the main menu on my DVD player. It always starts playing Title 1 immediately. The DVD seems to work correctly on my PC.
I have read the various guides to DVD Styler (not easy to understand!) and I have tried every option available in the "first run" command field on DVD Properties, but without any success.
I would be VERY grateful if anyone could give me some clues.
Many thanks in advance

Myrlin,
You have to create the Menu first and compile it into your dvd. Creating DVD menus are a bit confusing but once you have tried you can improve the next. There are of course ready made menus. And tutorials are available, you can read from here, here, and here. You may also be interested with Bombono DVD authoring, it has some menu options.
Hope this helps. Goodluck.

Thanks for your reply, Malekmustaq, and for the very useful links.
I'm afraid I did not explain my problem very well in my first post. I have been using one of the standard menus from DVD Styler, and the DVD behaves perfectly in my PC's DVD player, starting with the main menu ("play all", "select title") then responds correctly, but when I put the DVD into the Sony DVD player connected to my TV, and press play, it immediately plays title 1, rather than showing the menu. If I press "menu" or "top menu" on my handset, it then goes to the appropriate menu screen, and behaves correctly. It is just the initial start-up that does not behave as I want.
It looks as though it's just going to be a case of trial and error to get the correct result!
Thanks again for your help.
