Not too familiar w/ the way FC5 installs cdrecord and such but I've setup DVD::RIP in slackware and gentoo so lets see if i can't be some help here. The mount point is the point the dvd drive is mounted to. You can check/set this in /etc/fstab should see a line something like
Code:
/dev/dvd /mnt/dvd <some more stuff>
where the first argument is the device path of the dvd drive and the 2nd argument is the place the dvd is mounted to, use the later of the two for the dvd mount point. the cdrecord device will be the first argument. as for the cdrecord command make sure you have the cdrtools for FC5 installed and then do a
at a terminal this should give you the full path to where cdrecord is. If this doesn't help please post a reply. Also, you may want to consider acidrip. They are both great and when one can't rip a dvd the other usually can. Acidrip uses mplayer/mencode for the backend whereas DVD::RIP uses transcode for the backend both excellent encoding/decoding tools.
