DVD Software??

Hi, I'm really new to Linux, I am currently using Mandriva 2008 and I've downloaded some movies off the internet and want to burn them to a DVD that I can use in any DVD. I've read about K3B and people say that it doesn't burn in a format that is readable by all DVD players, in other words, in a DVD format. If anybody can help me by telling me about a program to install/how to install it I would be extremely grateful. Thanks!

Devede will convert most video formats to standard DVD content.

Once converted, K3b will have no problem creating a standard DVD.

FYI: Windows software does this step in the background before burning movies. Don't be thinking that this is only necessary under Linux/K3b.
