DVD Shrink in WINE, Trouble locating drives!

Ok. Here is what I was instructed to do in the howto tutorial:

We are gonna add one more for your DVD-RW drive. Before we do this you have to know the name of your DVD-RW drive. Mine is /media/cdrecorder1. Here is an easy way to find out. Open a seperate terminal window. Type this:

gedit /etc/fstab/

Write down the ones that say things like /media/cdrom or /media/cdrecorder. You may even have /media/cdrecorder1. I have 3 optical drives and My DVD-RW is a secondary slave. Dont change anything here. You are not logged into gedit as root so you shouldnt be able to change anything anyway. Close gedit.

This is what I got from the fstab command (see below)

/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0

So where the heck are my burners/drives?

My primary IDE is hooked up to the top drive with is a DVD ROM

The bottom is hooked up to the DVD r/rw CD r/rw

Well, here's A way to do this, though there are others. Make symbolic links that make sense for your setup under .wine/dosdevices. Here's mine, you will have to adjust to suit your hardware setup.

lrwxrwxrwx 1 ray ray 10 Mar 21 07:51 c: -> ../drive_c
lrwxrwxrwx 1 ray ray 10 Apr 19 09:29 d: -> /mnt/cdrom
lrwxrwxrwx 1 ray ray 8 Apr 19 08:24 d:: -> /dev/hdb
lrwxrwxrwx 1 ray ray 1 Mar 21 07:51 z: -> /

Note the one with the double colon.
